Lou & Hy'sLou & Hys was an Akron institution for 33 years. Memories of its cheesecake, stacked corned beef sandwiches and other eats linger on. The deli on West Market Street in Akrons Wallhaven neighborhood closed in 1998 and was demolished to make way for a CVS pharmacy, which still stands at the site across from Ken Stewarts Grille.
